9 Important On-Page SEO Ranking Factors That You Cannot Miss
On-page SEO is crucial if you want your page to rank on specific keywords. A well-optimized page is always one step ahead of its competitors so it must be done correctly.
Here are few important On-Page SEO Ranking Factors and how you can use them to improve your page rank.
Title is the text on the top of your browser inside the tab, it is commonly use to describe the page content.
It has been considered one of the most important On-page SEO ranking factors by many experts. It makes your page relevant to your target keywords and it improves your SERP (Search Engine Results Page) if done correctly.
One way to do it is to include your target keywords in the title and make it look natural. This is a good practice that sends signal to Search Engines what your page is all about. Here’s an example of it:

Title 1 mentioned the keyword twice while looking natural, and the latter mentioned the target keyword at the beginning and added a long tail keyword with the website name.

The title length should be under 58 characters or 512-pixel display for it to be displayed properly in Search results.
2. Domain URL
Domain URL is the readable name inside the address bar of a browser.
To improve relevancy and ranking, it’s recommended to and add your keywords in it. Google search highlights keywords on the domain when searchers query it, which means it has value to them.

It’s hard to crawl domains with too many special characters and random letters, also bot crawlers may not understand what topic is it relevant to.

3. Keyword Density
Keyword density is the percentage of a keyword against the total number of words in a post.
Adding certain percentage of keywords in your post in a natural way is a good On-page SEO practice which can boost page rank, but overdoing it or “keyword stuffing” may lead to a penalty instead.
There’s no exact or ideal optimal keyword density, I suggest to add not more than 2-3 keywords for every 300 words.
